5.0-magnitude quake hits Java, Indonesia

JAKARTA: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted the Indonesian island of Java at 22:18:14 UTC on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.The quake was at a depth of 42.4 km.There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties from the tremor.Source: Emirates News Agency
