Otorohanga:A 5.3-magnitude earthquake struck off the east coast of New Zealand's North Island, near Otorohanga, on Thursday.
According to Emirates News Agency, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 286 kilometres, 44 kilometres east of Otorohanga.
