The people of the capital's secretariat celebrated today the anniversary of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib's "Wilayah" day guardianship, peace be upon him, with mass activities in four squares under the slogan,"Of whomsoever I had been Master (Mawla), Ali here is to be his Master."
The squares of Tahrir Square, west of the Military College, north of the New University, and east of the People's Mosque, were crowded with crowds that flocked from all the directorates of the capital's secretariat to commemorate "Wilayah" day.
And the people of the capital, Sana’a, expressed joy and celebration of the anniversary of "Wilayah" day, adherence to and attachment to the approach of the greatest Messenger, may God’s prayers be upon him and his family, and Imam Ali, peace be upon him, and emulated their path in confronting the forces of aggression and arrogance, rejecting American hegemony and tutelage, and championing the nation’s causes.
The popular celebrations in the capital's secretariat witnessed various speeches and paragraphs with wide participation to commemorate this great memory, a renewal of the assumption of God, His Messenger, Imam Ali, peace be upon him, and the media of guidance.
Tahrir Square
The people of Tahrir directorates, Azal and Old Sana'a gathered in Tahrir Square to commemorate "Wilayah" day with a mass festival during which they expressed their love and loyalty to God, His Messenger, Imam Ali bin Abi Talib and the flags of guidance.
At the festival, a member of the Supreme Political Council, Muhammad Ali al-Houthi, blessed the people of the Republic of Yemen for this great celebration as a day of God, in which we bear witness that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers be upon him and his family, conveyed the message and completed the argument.
And he emphasized that this great day is the day that confirms that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his family, did not leave this nation without achieving for it an imam who leads the affairs of Muslims after him, and he is Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib, peace be upon him.
Muhammad Ali al-Houthi said, "When the nation abandoned the concept of guardianship, we saw its enemies put someone in charge of Muslims in Afghanistan, Iraq, and elsewhere, and we saw Trump in recent days saying that America's first man was placed on top of the Saudi power when he raised Muhammad bin Salman at the head of the Saudi power."
And the member of the Supreme Politician, Muhammad Ali Al-Houthi, indicated that the concept of guardianship in Islam means mercy and love for people.
And give everything you have for its sake, serve it, and achieve justice, as it is an extended guardianship of God Almighty and extended to the Prophet Muhammad, may God’s prayers be upon him and his family, who was merciful to the believers,
Emphasizing the nation's need for this mandate, which stems from the mercy that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his family, had.
In turn, a member of the Association of Yemeni Scholars, the scholar Muhammad Muftah, stressed the importance of this occasion, dear to the hearts of the Yemenis, who had a remarkable presence on this day when the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers be upon him and his family, delivered his companions and a crowd of Muslims, the famous Ghadir sermon after the farewell pilgrimage.
He pointed out the need to take advantage of this occasion to draw inspiration from the approach and biography of Ali, peace be upon him, in sacrificing for the sake of defending the Islamic religion, consolidating the principle of justice and supporting the oppressed, and embodying his high morals and embodying them in our reality in word and deed.
Moftah said, "The Islamic nation is in dire need at this time, when it is facing its enemies and the enemies of the religion who are spreading corruption in the land, to embody the principle and meaning of the guardianship that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his family and grant him peace, established in his companions since the dawn of Islam."
He pointed to the victories achieved by the Yemeni people in the face of aggression, despite their fewness and the large number of enemies, stressing the permanent support of the Yemeni people with the grievances of the Palestinian people and support for their just cause until God establishes truth and nullifies falsehood.
At the end of the festival, the participants renewed their pledge and allegiance to God, His Messenger, the Commander of the Faithful, Ali bin Abi Talib, and the imams of guidance, declaring their innocence from the enemies of God.
East Square of the People's Mosque
The residents of the Al-Sabeen, Al-Wahda and Al-Safia districts also gathered in a mass festival east of Al-Shaab Mosque, in the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs, Mahmoud Al-Junaid, and the Minister of Tourism, Ahmed Al-Amir.
At the festival, a member of the Association of Yemeni Scholars, the scholar, Taha Al-Hadri, considered the anniversary of "Wilayah" day an educational station in acquiring the values and principles of Imam Ali and renewing the covenant and loyalty to the Commander of the Faithful and the flags of guidance.
He said, "When the Arabs abandoned the guardianship of God, His Messenger, Imam Ali, and the saints from among the heirs of the Book, the alternative was to take the Jews and Christians as guardians."
He added, "As for the second case, the talk of wilayah proved its credibility in reality when those loyal to God, His Messenger, and Imam Ali moved in the face of the Zionist enemy entity, despite their fewness in the axis of resistance, but they were able to achieve victories after victories over the Jews, liberated southern Lebanon, manufactured missiles and weapons, and liberated Gaza."
He continued, "Our people won in Yemen despite the fiercest aggression in the history of the region and the humility of our people's capabilities, and the victories continue to continue at a time when the Arabs failed and became allies of the Jews."
He affirmed the steadfast position of the masses of the Yemeni people against the entity of the Zionist enemy and the criminal Americans, and those who loyal to them and stand on their side of the agents and hypocrites, and their support for the oppressed Palestinian people and standing with the jihad and resistance movements until the victory of God, who gives victory to his loyalists.
Celebration word indicated that the Yemeni people are a people of loyalty, support, and love for God, His Messenger, Imam Ali, and the flags of guidance, expressing the congratulations and blessings of the people of the capital’s secretariat on the occasion of Eid al-Ghadir al-Aghar to the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the political leadership, the government, and all the Yemeni people and the Islamic nation.
Military College Square
In addition, the people of the Directorates of Shu'ub, Al-Thawra and Bani Al-Harith organized a mass festival in the Military College Square, to celebrate the anniversary of the mandate of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, under the slogan "And help those who support him."
At the festival, which was attended by the Mayor of the capital, Hammoud Abbad, a member of the Shura Council, Adel Al-Hanbasi, confirmed that the revival of "Wilayah" day with this large attendance expresses the extent of the Yemenis’ love and their connection to God and His Messenger and the leaders of guidance from the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them.
Director of the Guidance Office in Amanat Al-Asimah, Dr. Qais Al-Tal in his word explained the importance and position that this occasion occupies on a feast day for Muslims, explaining that the hadith about guardianship is a frequent hadith among all Muslims, and it is the most hadith that was narrated from the Prophet, may God’s prayers be upon him and his family in terms of the large number of narrators, methods and chains of transmission, it is an argument for all Muslims and they must act upon it. Loyalty to God and victory from Almighty.
He stressed the need to embody the principle of "Wilayah" day and the nation's need for it in this era in which it faces dangers and challenges and lacks divine victory and dominance, referring to what the memory of guardianship represents as one of the greatest verses of the Muhammadan prophecy, and the nation saw the presence of its impact in it.
New University North Square
The people of Maeen district also gathered in a mass festival, in the square north of the new university, to celebrate the day of the mandate of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali, peace be upon him, under the slogan "A give victory to whom supports him."
In the ceremony, which was attended by the Minister of Legal Affairs, Ismail Al-Mahaqari, the Assistant Undersecretary of the Capital Municipality, Sami Sharaf Al-Din, the Director of the Municipality Security, Major General Muammar Harash, the Director of the Directorate, Abdul-Malik Al-Radi, and the heads of the African communities in Sana’a.
A member of the Association of Yemeni Scholars, scholar Khaled Musa, stressed the importance of commemorating the Day of Wallayh as an embodiment of the status of its owner, Imam Ali, peace be upon him, in the hearts of Yemenis.
He explained that the nation saw its condition when it was far from the principle of divine mandate, and it became the nation of a billion Muslims and it has the most important sites and the greatest wealth and armies, but it fell under the domination of those who were struck by humiliation and palliation, so the Jews occupied its land in Palestine and displaced a dear people from it and desecrated its sanctities and subjected its capitals to their hegemony despite their few and its abundance.
Allamah Musa touched on the second case, in which the hadeeth of "Wilayah" day proved to be true in reality, when those loyal to God, His Messenger, and Imam Ali moved in the face of the Zionist enemy entity, and despite their fewness in the axis of resistance, they were able to achieve victories after victories over the Jews, so they liberated southern Lebanon, manufactured missiles and weapons, Gaza was liberated, and the Yemeni people were victorious. Despite what was used by the brutal aggression against the Yemeni people.
Allama Musa reaffirmed the firm stance of the Yemeni people against the Zionist enemy entity and the criminal Americans and those who loyal to them and stand on their side of the agents and hypocrites, as well as affirming the standing of the Yemeni people and their unwavering support for the oppressed Palestinian people and standing with the jihad and resistance movements until God’s victory is achieved.
The festival included a poem by the poet Moaz Al-Junaid, entitled "We are a people who are loyal to Ali."
And singing paragraphs by the Al-Samoud Youth Band, and folkloric paragraphs expressing joy and happiness on this great occasion that Yemenis used to revive throughout history.
