The Military Intelligence Directorate announced the arrest of a terrorist and (24) accused of various cases in several governorates.
It said in a statement that, in cooperation with the security forces, tight ambushes were set up in separate areas of (Baghdad, Kirkuk, Anbar, Nineveh, Basra, and Maysan) governorates, which resulted in the arrest of a wanted terrorist in accordance with the provisions of Article (4 /terrorism) in Al-Shura district, and (24) defendants in various legal cases in the districts of Latifiya, Al-Majar Al-Kabir, Qalaat Saleh, Al-Ramadi Island, Fallujah, Al-Hartha, Al-Dair, Al-Hawija, Al-Saqlawiyah, Al-Multaqa, Al-Rashad and Al-Nuaimiyah districts.
