Al Markhiya team will leave Wednesday to Afyon, Turkiye, to hold a training camp that will last until August 5, as part of the preparations for the QNB Stars League for the 2023/2024 football season.
The team will play five friendly matches in the camp before returning to Doha to complete the final preparations for the start of the Qatari League on August 17.
Al Markhiya had recently announced the signing of Moayad Hassan, Abdulaziz Metwally, and Mohammed Al Abbasi, in addition to the signing of French defender Muhammadu Naby Sarr from the English club, Reading FC, Gambian striker Yusupha Njie from Portuguese Boavista FC, and Portuguese midfielder Joao Teixeira.
