A joint force launched a security operation to track down ISIS sleeper cells south of Baquba, the center of Diyala Governorate.
A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "A joint security force carried out an operation to sweep the perimeter of Bejat area within the Basin of Buhrz, south of Baquba, from two axes."
He explained: "The operation was carried out as part of a strategy to end the activity of sleeper cells and comb agricultural roads and abandoned areas since years."
