The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today, Wednesday, the date of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's visit to Iraq.
The Undersecretary of the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hisham Al-Alawi, said in a press statement: "Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Iraq during the next month."
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan arrived in Baghdad yesterday, Tuesday, and met with Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, stressing in a press statement after the meeting that his country is closely following the "water shortage in Iraq" and is dealing with this issue "from a purely humanitarian point of view."
