The German Ministry of the Interior announced the deportation of 222 Iraqis since the beginning of the year, 169 of them to Iraq, and 53 to other countries from which they came to Germany.The Kurdish Rudaw media network reported: 'According to the German Ministry of the Interior, it has been decided that 22,757 Iraqis will leave the country, including 20,611 people who possess a 'Duldung,' which is a tolerant residence permit or a type of suspension of deportation.'According to German data, 77 citizens were deported from Bavaria, while 288 citizens voluntarily returned to Iraq, including the Kurdistan region.On the other hand, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia did not witness any mass deportation process in 2024, while sources indicated that out of 27 Iraqi citizens who were deported from the state, 14 of them were deported to Iraq.Source: National Iraqi News Agency
