Riyadh, The Ministry of Media's Konoz initiative, launched as part of the Human Capability Development Program under Saudi Vision 2030, has achieved notable recognition. The initiative's films "Horizon" and "Station Seven" received seven awards at the Telly Awards ceremony held in New York.The Telly Awards, established in 1979 and based in New York City, recognize exceptional achievements in video, television, and visual creativity. With over 13,000 global entries each year, the awards celebrate excellence in various categories, including branded content, commercials and marketing, immersive, interactive and mixed realities, TV and online series, shows and segments, non-broadcast videos, and social media content."Horizon," a collaborative production of Konoz and the National Center for Wildlife, captures the beauty of Saudi Arabia's landscapes and wildlife while promoting conservation efforts. It received four silver Telly Awards in categories such as cinematography, nature and wildlife, shows and segment s, and general TV series."Station Seven" is a documentary highlighting the advancements made towards the goals of Vision 2030 in 2023. The film received three awards, including a silver for cinematography and two bronzes for long-form use and branded content.Telly Award entries are judged by a panel of over 250 industry experts from leading advertising agencies, production companies, and global television networks.The Konoz initiative focuses on capturing and showcasing the treasures of Saudi Arabia, with the goal of advancing the country's film production.Source: Saudi Press Agency
