Over 12,000 Pilgrims Receive Healthcare Services in Madinah Since Beginning of Dhu-AlQa’dah

Madinah, More than 12,000 pilgrims received medical care at the seasonal facilities and health centers in Madinah from the 1st to the 17th of the current month, as part of the comprehensive services provided by the Ministry of Health to care for and support pilgrims during their stay in Madinah. The Madinah Health Cluster indicated that 10,748 pilgrims received healthcare services at the seasonal health centers near the Prophet's Mosque and the central area, while emergency departments in hospitals received 1,323 visitors from the pilgrims since the beginning of the current month of Dhu-AlQa'dah. Additionally, 31 heart catheterization procedures, including therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, were performed. Furthermore, the medical condition of 38 pilgrims from various nationalities necessitated surgical procedures, alongside 37 kidney dialysis sessions.Source: Saudi Press Agency
