Major Earthquake Hits Eastern Iran, Kills Two

Tehran, An earthquake measuring 5 on the Richter scale jolted Kashmar city in Khorasan Province, eastern Iran, killing two persons.According to the Seismological Monitoring Center of the Geophysical Institute of Tehran University, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 6 km below the Earth surface.
