Industry Minister Discusses Aerospace Industry Collaboration with Embraer

Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef has met with Vice President of Strategy and Innovation at Embraer Dimas Douglas Tomelin to discuss cooperation in the aerospace industry and localizing it in the Kingdom.They explored opportunities to enhance collaboration between the two sides and discussed leveraging Embraer's expertise in aircraft manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance to enhance the Saudi aerospace industry.Such collaboration aligns with the Kingdom's efforts to diversify its economy and foster advanced industries.Alkhorayef toured Embraer's facilities, namely Gavião Peixoto, Ozires Silva and Eugenio de Melo, which are dedicated to the manufacturing of commercial, military and electric aircraft and of helicopters.Source: Saudi Press Agency
