Earthquake Measuring 4.6 on the Richter Scale Hits Iraq

An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale struck east of Khanaqin in northeastern Iraq, near the border with Iran.The Iraqi Ministry of Transport said in a statement today that the earthquake was about 47 kilometers east of Khanaqin, noting that no material or human losses were reported as a result of the earthquake.Source: Qatar News Agency
