Buraidah Dates Carnival Makes Over SAR78 Million in Sales

The Buraidah Dates Carnival, in Qassim Region, is bringing about a surge in commercial activity. With a wide variety of Qassim palm dates on display, the event is attracting both local shoppers and international traders.Since the carnival started on August 1, it generated over SAR78 million in sales. A total of 9,976 tons of dates were sold in 2,494,085 packages. The event has drawn more than 170,000 visitors so far.The successful carnival is scheduled to continue for another 51 days.Source: Saudi Press Agency
