6.1-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Off Coast of Costa Rica

A magnitude-6.1 earthquake off the coast in Costa Rica on Saturday.The quake was at a depth of 51 km (31.69 miles), the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) said There have been no reports of causalities or material damage.Costa Rica is exposed to earthquakes of different strengths due to its location on active geological layers that cause many underground cracks.Source: Qatar News Agency
