Abu Dhabi: EDGE, a global leader in advanced technology and defence, is set to unveil its latest multi-domain systems and solutions at the International Defence and Security Exhibition of Spain (FEINDEF), scheduled from May 12 to 14 at IFEMA in Madrid.
According to Emirates News Agency, the biennial event is organized by the FEINDEF Foundation with support from the Spanish Ministry of Defence. It provides a strategic avenue for EDGE to expand and solidify its network of defence and security partnerships across Europe. Miles Chambers, Vice President of International Business Development at EDGE, emphasized the significance of FEINDEF in fostering relationships with industry and government stakeholders and exploring collaborative opportunities. He expressed excitement about showcasing EDGE's advanced solutions in Spain, a country of cultural and commercial importance to the group.
EDGE will present an array of advanced systems, including land platforms, aerial systems, secure communications, precision-guided munitions, air defence systems, and cutting-edge radar and electro-optical technologies. Notably, in the aerial systems category, EDGE will exhibit the SHADOW 25 and SHADOW 50 jet-powered loitering unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), designed for rapid and precise strikes on fixed targets.
The group will also display ANAVIA's HT-100 VTOL system, the SKYNEX missile launcher, and the SKYKNIGHT air defence system, all designed to counter various aerial threats. In the land domain, EDGE will feature the AJBAN 452A 4x4 light patrol vehicle, suitable for internal security, artillery observation, and troop transport missions.
In electronic warfare, EDGE will showcase its SKYSHIELD, a counter-unmanned aerial system offering frequency jamming and spoofing capabilities. BORDERSHIELD, an autonomous surveillance solution for border security, will also be on display.
EDGE's secure communication systems will be highlighted through offerings such as the KATIM GATEWAY 9001-R, GATEWAY 9001, and GATEWAY 9011, all designed for robust network encryption and secure communications. The KATIM X3M ultra-secure smartphone, aimed at mission-critical applications, will be featured as well.
In precision munitions, EDGE will present AL TARIQ, a tactical solution for high-accuracy targeting in challenging environments. The group's stand will also feature electro-optics and advanced surveillance radars, underscoring EDGE's commitment to delivering mission-focused technologies and reinforcing its position as a trusted partner in the European defence market.
