Seoul: Korea's exports saw a 4.3 percent increase in June compared to the same period last year, reaching $59.8 billion. This growth was attributed to strong global demand for semiconductors, marking a recovery from a decline in exports seen the previous month.According to Emirates News Agency, data from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy indicated that this positive trend in June was accompanied by a 3.3 percent rise in imports, totaling $50.72 billion. This resulted in a trade surplus of $9.08 billion for the month. Notably, semiconductor exports surged by 11.6 percent, hitting a record high of $14.97 billion in June.
