Mohammed Bin Rashid Engages with Key Leaders at Union House Meeting

Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, recently convened with a diverse group of citizens, business leaders, traders, investors, government officials, and private sector executives at the Union House in Dubai. The meeting underscored the UAE's ongoing commitment to fostering a comprehensive development model under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Mohammed highlighted the UAE's dedication to a development paradigm that prioritizes investment in people, community engagement, and embracing innovation. He stressed the importance of uniting public and private sector efforts to maintain the UAE's standing among the world's leading nations across various sectors.

In the presence of H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and H.H. Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, Sheikh Mohammed articulated Dubai's ambitious development vision. He emphasized that Dubai's progress is driven by a clear vision, limitless ambition, and a robust partnership between public and private sectors, reinforcing its status as a global hub.

Sheikh Mohammed stated that Dubai's development model, rooted in innovation and competitiveness, has made it a preferred global destination for investment and talent. He called for accelerated development to enhance quality of life, economic performance, and government services, aligning with the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.

Sheikh Mohammed also discussed the necessity of a flexible legislative environment to support global economic shifts and entrepreneurial aspirations. He reaffirmed Dubai's commitment to transforming its economic and digital landscape to attract global talent and companies.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed engaged with attendees on the UAE's sustainable development journey, highlighting the leadership's role in providing a supportive environment for the private sector. Attendees expressed appreciation for Sheikh Mohammed's approach to inclusive engagement and collective participation.

Shamma bint Suhail Faris Al Mazrui, Minister of Community Development, delivered a talk on the 'Year of the Community' initiative. Al Mazrui emphasized the initiative's role in strengthening social cohesion and empowering societal participation in development efforts. She highlighted initiatives like 'Hewi Dubai' and the 'Community Development Fund,' which aim to improve public welfare systems and support community sustainability.

Al Mazrui also noted the UAE's legislative frameworks supporting 842 public welfare organizations, and the availability of 70 places of worship for non-Muslims, reflecting the country's values of tolerance and harmony. She stressed the importance of collective efforts in achieving the UAE's vision for an inclusive and sustainable future.

On the sidelines of the event, Sheikh Mohammed met with Sheikh Saeed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan and Reem Adel Ahmed Al Zarouni, UAE winners of the Arab Reading Challenge. He praised their achievements and emphasized the role of reading in shaping knowledgeable minds and future leaders.

The event concluded with commemorative photos of Sheikh Mohammed and the attendees, marking the occasion.
