Abu Dhabi Judicial Department Showcases Inmate Crafts at Liwa Date Festival

Abu dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) is participating in the 21st edition of the Liwa Date Festival 2025, which is being held in Liwa City, Al Dhafra Region. The department's involvement in the festival includes a dedicated pavilion where they are presenting a range of products crafted by inmates from correctional and rehabilitation centres.

According to Emirates News Agency, the festival is organised by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority and offers ADJD a platform to display the talents and creativity of inmates. This initiative not only underscores the department's commitment to community engagement but also highlights its broader rehabilitation efforts. By equipping inmates with practical skills, ADJD aims to support their reintegration into society as productive and law-abiding citizens.
