Dubai: Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, engaged in discussions with Francisco Chac³n Hern¡ndez, Ambassador of Costa Rica to the UAE, and several ambassadors from Latin American and Caribbean nations. The meeting aimed to explore ways to enhance financial, economic, and development ties between the UAE and the group.
According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting took place at the Ministry's headquarters in Dubai and was convened at the request of the Costa Rican Embassy on behalf of the Latin American and Caribbean Group of Ambassadors. The discussions emphasized the significance of establishing the region as strategic partners for the UAE. Both parties focused on expanding bilateral cooperation through knowledge and experience exchange and developing sustainable communication channels that align with shared development goals across various sectors.
Al Hussaini praised the robust financial and economic relationships between the UAE and the Latin American and Caribbean countries. He highlighted that expanding cooperation with these nations is in line with the UAE's strategic vision to bolster regional financial stability and foster sustainable development with its partners.
The meeting concluded with both sides reaffirming the importance of ongoing coordination and consultation. They expressed commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations and reinforcing the foundations of joint cooperation with the Latin American and Caribbean countries.
