Al dhaid: The fourth edition of the Al Asayl Exhibition, hosted at Expo Al Dhaid, is experiencing a remarkable influx of visitors, particularly those with an interest in hunting and equestrian sports. Organised by Expo Centre Sharjah with support from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the event is a convergence point for over 250 companies and brands focused on horse, camel, and falcon supplies.
According to Emirates News Agency, the exhibition features a dynamic programme that includes equestrian and falconry displays, complemented by a variety of heritage-focused activities. This blend of tradition and innovation is a significant draw for attendees. One of the major highlights is the Falcon Auction, which has attracted notable participation from falconers and breeders across the UAE and the broader Gulf region. Premium and rare falcon breeds like Shaheen, Gyr-Shaheen, Gyr-Tiba, and pure Gyr have been the focal point of competitive bidding, reinforcing the exhibition's status as a central hub for falconry enthusiasts.
Exhibitors have commended the seamless organisation of the Al Asayl Exhibition 2025, pointing out the broad spectrum of companies and specialised offerings that meet the needs of equestrian and falconry enthusiasts in the UAE and the Gulf. They view the exhibition as a pivotal venue for promoting products, enhancing brand visibility, and forging new business partnerships within the equestrian, camel, and falconry sectors.
Sultan Shattaf, Commercial Director of Expo Centre Sharjah, remarked on the strong visitor turnout, highlighting the exhibition's role as an annual platform that caters to the interests of falconry and camping enthusiasts in the region. He noted that the event also helps expand the market by bringing together local and international companies that offer advanced camping gear and premium falcon breeds.
Hamad bin Bakhit bin Hamoudi Al Ketbi, owner of the renowned Red Falcon and Red Death Falcon farms, expressed that the exhibition provides an excellent opportunity to showcase high-quality and rare falcons, capturing the interest of leading falconers. Al-Oqilat Real Estate, a prominent Saudi camping company, participated as an exclusive agent for several global camping brands, presenting products tailored for the UAE market, including premium feather jackets for extreme conditions.
A representative from Al-Oqilat Real Estate stated that their participation aims to engage with hunting and outdoor activity enthusiasts, reflecting a strategic approach to the market. Similarly, Saeed Al Shamsi from ER Falcon highlighted the company's dedication to offering top-grade falcons, especially Pure Gyr and Qarmoush varieties, at competitive prices to broaden falcon ownership and sustain the sport's heritage. By targeting younger generations, ER Falcon aims to ensure the long-term growth and cultural continuity of falconry.
