Dubai: H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE National Olympic Committee, attended the Dubai Air Show 2025 at Dubai World Central (DWC). This premier event for the aviation, aerospace, and defense sectors features over 1,500 exhibitors and will conclude on 21st November.
According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Mansoor emphasized that the agreements made during the Dubai Air Show 2025 highlight Dubai’s significant influence in the global aviation industry. He attributed this prominence to the visionary leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the dedication of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
H.H. Sheikh Mansoor commended the efforts of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum in establishing Dubai as a global aviation hub. He mentioned that expanding Al Maktoum Airport to accommodate over 260 million passengers annually will further strengthen Dubai’s position as a key global gateway.
During his visit, Sheikh Mansoor explored prominent national and international pavilions, including those of Emirates, flydubai, and Saab. He reviewed advanced defense technologies like the GlobalEye and Gripen E aircraft.
At the Turkish defense giant Aselsan pavilion, Sheikh Mansoor examined advanced defense equipment and laser-guided munitions. He also visited the Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) pavilion to learn about their aircraft and satellite developments. Additionally, he inspected Emirates’ Airbus A321LR and the French Air Force Airbus A400M.
Sheikh Mansoor witnessed aerial displays featuring the Al Fursan aerobatic team and various advanced military and commercial aircraft, including the Rafale, Su-57, B52, and Boeing 777X.
