Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed and Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Visit Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi


Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, have toured the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi in the Saadiyat Cultural District.



According to Emirates News Agency, the museum, the largest of its kind in the Middle East, spans over 35,000 square meters and showcases 13.8 billion years of natural history through scientific displays and immersive exhibits.



The tour started with a viewing of the museum’s atrium, featuring a world-first exhibition of sauropod dinosaurs. Their Highnesses reviewed the museum’s educational content, which promotes environmental awareness and sustainability. H.H. Sheikh Khaled emphasized the museum’s role in advancing the UAE’s leadership in natural sciences and public education, highlighting its importance in fostering scientific exploration and sustainability.



H.H. Sheikh Hamdan noted the museum’s significance in enhancing the UAE’s status as a global destination for knowledge and innovation. The tour included Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan and other officials. The museum’s galleries offer a journey through time, featuring exhibits like The Story of Earth and The Human Story.



The museum will open to the public on 22 November 2025, joining other world-class institutions in the Saadiyat Cultural District and reinforcing its status as a global hub for culture and science.
