Abu dhabi: Investcorp, a leading global alternative investment firm, has announced ambitious plans to invest at least US$6 billion in the current fiscal year, which runs from 1st July 2025 to 30th June 2026. Yusef Al Yusef, the Global Head of Distribution at Investcorp, revealed that the investment focus will be on private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and debt instruments.
According to Emirates News Agency, Al Yusef made these statements on the sidelines of Abu Dhabi Finance Week, highlighting the event's significance as a hub for global financial leaders. He emphasized Investcorp's strategic expansion, particularly in the US, as part of capturing emerging opportunities in global markets.
Al Yusef pointed out that Abu Dhabi Finance Week, since its inception, has become a crucial platform for the financial sector. He noted that Investcorp was among the first institutions to establish a foothold at Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) in 2014, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the region.
Two years ago, Investcorp took a major step by listing Investcorp Capital on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX). This move not only bolstered its presence in Abu Dhabi and the broader UAE market but also supported its regional growth objectives.
He further explained that Investcorp Capital stands out in the Middle East for allowing retail investors, along with institutions, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals, to invest directly in a diversified array of strategies, including private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and private credit instruments.
