Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award Extends Registration Deadline to January 31

Abu dhabi: The Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award Office, affiliated with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has announced an extension of the registration deadline for the award’s 22nd cycle to January 31. This decision comes in response to robust interest from companies and institutions eager to participate in the prestigious award program.

According to Emirates News Agency, the extension aims to provide additional opportunities for more applicants to engage in the award program. Launched in 1999 by the Abu Dhabi Chamber, the award seeks to enhance the private sector’s role in economic development and community progress. It is named in honor of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The award’s framework is designed to measure the impact of participating organizations on economic growth and community development, focusing on areas such as competitiveness, innovation, national talent development, technology adoption, and supply-chain localization.

Participants are evaluated based on seven pillars that align with Abu Dhabi’s economic priorities. These include talent development, technology, community service, support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), exports, supply chains, and entrepreneurship.

The registration process is conducted digitally, followed by an initial screening and interviews with shortlisted candidates. An independent team of assessors and adjudicators evaluates the applicants. The award categories encompass large companies, family businesses, SMEs, and start-ups.

The award office has urged private-sector entities to utilize the extended registration period to submit their applications and take part in this initiative.
