Abdullah Bin Zayed Receives Egyptian FM; Reviews Fraternal Ties, Regional Developments

Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration of Egypt, in Abu Dhabi.

According to Emirates News Agency, the discussions between the UAE and Egyptian officials focused on the strong relations between the two nations, emphasizing bilateral cooperation and exploring ways to further enhance it, particularly in areas aligned with the development goals of both countries.

During their meeting, Sheikh Abdullah underscored the deep-rooted ties with Egypt and the mutual commitment to advancing joint cooperation, aiming to benefit both countries and promote prosperity for their citizens.

The dialogue also covered developments in the Gaza Strip. Both parties stressed the significance of supporting the 'Board of Peace' objectives and the implementation of US President Donald Trump's plan in all its phases.

Additionally, they examined the need for backing the Palestinian National Committee for the Administration of Gaza and the importance of regional and international efforts to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, addressing the urgent needs of its residents.

The meeting also saw the participation of Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State, and Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Minister of State.
