According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan engaged with pioneers recognized in the 'Edge 50' list at the World Governments Summit 2026. This list, developed by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Government Innovation (MBRCGI) in collaboration with 'Apolitical', showcases 50 innovative and pioneering government initiatives globally that have significantly driven sustainable transformation.
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan highlighted that since its inception, the UAE's leadership has identified innovation as a critical factor for development and prosperity. He stated that government innovation is a hallmark of the UAE, and the nation is keen to share this experience with the world.
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan emphasized that the 'Edge 50' list embodies this global collaboration, celebrating creative breakthroughs worldwide. The list encompasses various essential sectors, such as human resources, talent development, the economy, community development, urban planning, health services, sustainability, environmental and climate concerns, legislation, immigration, innovation, and community participation.
The 'Edge 50' list acts as an advanced global model for integrating innovation into government operations through practical initiatives, adaptable in various contexts. These initiatives aim to improve life quality and enhance the efficiency and agility of government institutions.
