Mohammed bin Rashid Leads Swearing-In of New Dubai Public Prosecution Members


Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, presided over the swearing-in ceremony of 20 newly appointed members of the Dubai Public Prosecution. The ceremony, attended by key figures including H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, took place at the Dubai Public Prosecution.



According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Mohammed expressed his wishes for the success of the new Public Prosecution members, emphasizing the significance of upholding the rule of law and delivering justice. He highlighted the need for a strong sense of responsibility and urged the members to prioritize justice, community wellbeing, and the progress of society. Sheikh Mohammed also encouraged continuous skill development to stay aligned with global shifts and to promote justice, integrity, and professionalism while safeguarding rights and dignity.



The event was attended by notable individuals such as Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director General of HH The Dubai Ruler’s Court; Counsellor Essam Issa Al Humaidan, Attorney General of Dubai; and others. Following the ceremony, Sheikh Mohammed toured the Dubai Public Prosecution building, which includes a state-of-the-art remote Investigation and Litigation Control Centre. This facility is equipped with advanced communication systems and smart technologies, supporting efficient management of investigations and virtual court sessions.



The tour also included a visit to the fitness centre, which offers modern facilities and sports programmes aimed at promoting a healthy work environment. At the end of his visit, Sheikh Mohammed commended the collaborative efforts of the Public Prosecution and related judicial entities in achieving the emirate’s judicial objectives. He also participated in a group photo with the newly appointed members.
