Burjeel Holdings Inks MoUs to Enhance Medical Education and Training


Abu dhabi: Burjeel Holdings has signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and Alexandria University’s Abu Dhabi branch. These agreements aim to build strong global and regional partnerships to support the development of the healthcare workforce and promote academic excellence.



According to Emirates News Agency, the MoUs were signed at Burjeel House during the World Health Expo 2026. Dr. Tahani Alqadiri, Group Director of Emiratisation and Academics at Burjeel Holdings, emphasized that the partnerships reflect the company’s long-term commitment to developing a skilled healthcare workforce through education, training, and academic collaboration.



The MoU with the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland focuses on professional development, examinations, training programs, and academic and clinical exchange. The collaboration aims to enhance medical education standards and support continuous professional development through joint initiatives.



Under this agreement, Burjeel Holdings will provide facilities for the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland’s examination activities in Abu Dhabi. The partnership also involves delivering accredited Continuing Medical Education programs for Burjeel-affiliated professionals and offering academic and clinical exchange opportunities for residents and fellows.



The MoU with Alexandria University’s Abu Dhabi branch aims to enhance education, training, and research opportunities for students and faculty. It supports structured training programs, professional networking, and expertise exchange between faculty and clinical teams.



This partnership focuses on offering observership training and clinical exposure to medical and dental students across Burjeel hospitals and affiliated facilities. It also includes collaboration on research initiatives and knowledge sharing to strengthen student learning outcomes and academic engagement.
