UAE President Receives Crown Prince of Bahrain in Abu Dhabi


Abu dhabi: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today received His Royal Highness Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain. During their meeting at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, they exchanged cordial greetings and congratulations ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, expressing hopes for blessings and prosperity for both countries and their peoples.



According to Emirates News Agency, His Royal Highness conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain to the UAE President, along with wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the UAE and its people. The UAE President reciprocated by asking the Crown Prince to convey his greetings to King Hamad bin Isa and his wishes for further progress and growth for Bahrain and its people.



The discussions also focused on the historical ties between the UAE and Bahrain and their joint commitment to strengthening these relations in support of mutual interests. Both leaders emphasized the steady growth of UAE-Bahrain relations and their determination to advance cooperation, particularly in areas that align with the countries’ development priorities and future aspirations.



The two sides exchanged views on several issues of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by various UAE officials, including H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and several other sheikhs and top officials.



The Crown Prince of Bahrain was accompanied by a delegation that included Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, and other senior officials from Bahrain. His Royal Highness had arrived earlier in the UAE, where he was welcomed at the Presidential Flight in Abu Dhabi by Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan and other senior officials.
