Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikha Mariam bint Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairperson of the Education, Human Development and Community Development Council, emphasized the significance of education on the occasion of Emirati Day for Education, celebrated annually on 28th February. She stated that education is the core of the nation's future and the foundation on which aspirations are built.
According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikha Mariam highlighted in her statement that every student embodies a story of hope, and education serves as the bridge to achieving their goals and shaping their future. She underscored the launch of the National Education Charter as a testament to the UAE's dedication to developing an integrated education system. This system aims to empower individuals, reinforce national identity across generations, and provide youth with the knowledge and skills necessary to confidently and ambitively shape their futures.
Sheikha Mariam also acknowledged the crucial role played by teachers, parents, and educators in sustaining the educational journey. She noted that they are the pillars supporting education and are vital partners in nurturing generations who are confident in their identity and capable of contributing significantly to the nation's ongoing progress.
