Bahrain Condemns Iranian Missile Attacks Against Arab States

Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned and denounced the Iranian missile attacks targeting Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and Jordan, which violated their sovereignty, security, and stability.

According to Emirates News Agency, these attacks posed a threat to the safety and lives of civilians and residents and showed disregard for international law, established norms, and the principles of good neighborliness. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs commended the effectiveness of the air defense systems of Bahrain and other Arab states, which intercepted and downed several missiles, while others hit certain sites and facilities.

In a statement reported by Bahrain News Agency, the Ministry affirmed that the armed forces in these states are fully prepared to deter any attacks that threaten the security and sovereignty of Arab states. The Ministry urged the international community to condemn these acts and take a decisive stance to halt such hostile actions that endanger civilians and residents.

The Ministry reiterated that the states maintain their legitimate right to respond and take necessary measures to preserve their sovereignty, security, stability, and the safety of their citizens and residents.
