Abu Dhabi Cricket and Sports Hub Unveils ‘Sports Hub Cares’ Initiative

Abu dhabi: Abu Dhabi Cricket and Sports Hub (ADCSH) has unveiled 'Sports Hub Cares,' a new community initiative aimed at making sport accessible to all by opening its world-class facilities free of charge during specific hours.

According to Emirates News Agency, the six-week programme, running until 31st May 2026, represents a significant advancement in ADCSH's 2026 community strategy. The initiative emphasizes accessibility, participation, and wellbeing. 'Sports Hub Cares' consolidates a range of programmes and partnerships designed to create a long-term impact across Abu Dhabi's population.

Phase 1 of the initiative, which continues until 29th April, offers individuals and families complimentary access to various premium sporting facilities. This approach removes traditional barriers to participation and promotes more active lifestyles. The programme includes complimentary swim sessions daily from 9 am to 12 noon, padel, tennis, and squash sessions on weekdays during the same hours, and weekend junior and senior cricket sessions.

As part of 'Sports Hub Cares,' ADCSH will host the 2026 Playfest Carnival on Friday, 24 April, at Zayed Cricket Stadium. This one-day event is a multi-sport community activity for children aged 4-11, featuring participants from across the emirate.
