Dubai: The price of gold saw a slight rise today, positioning itself for potential weekly gains. Spot gold increased by 0.3% to $4,700.80 per ounce as of 00:59 GMT, marking a 1.9% rise since the beginning of the week.
According to Emirates News Agency, US gold futures for June delivery remained steady at $4,709.90 per ounce. In addition to gold, other precious metals also experienced rises. Silver in spot transactions rose by 0.8% to $79.10 per ounce, platinum increased by 0.5% to $2,032.70, and palladium saw a slight gain of 0.1% to reach $1,482.50.
