Dubai Chambers and CCPIT Zhejiang Collaborate to Boost Bilateral Trade

Dubai: Dubai Chambers on Monday held a meeting with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Zhejiang Provincial Committee (CCPIT Zhejiang) to discuss opportunities to develop economic cooperation and strengthen trade and investment relations between Dubai and China.

According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting was attended by Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, and Chen Jianzhong, Chairman of CCPIT Zhejiang and CCOIC Zhejiang. Discussions focused on ways to advance the economic partnership between the two markets, with a focus on key sectors presenting opportunities to deepen trade and investment cooperation, including the digital economy.

Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah expressed a commitment to strengthening cooperation with Chinese provinces, including Zhejiang. He emphasized the importance of supporting open communication channels between business communities and facilitating investment flows, which contribute to unlocking new opportunities for strategic partnerships, supporting bilateral trade growth, and enhancing competitiveness for companies in both markets.

The meeting is part of a series of engagements by Dubai Chambers with various Chinese entities, aiming to enhance bilateral trade and investment cooperation between the two sides. Zhejiang holds the position of China's fourth-largest provincial economy, making it a significant player in the economic partnership.
