Sdeira Group and CERT Forge Partnership to Enhance Workforce Development

Abu dhabi: Sdeira Group, a subsidiary of AD Ports Group's Economic Cities and Free Zones cluster, has entered into a strategic partnership with the Centre of Excellence for Applied Research and Training (CERT) to develop workforce capabilities, strengthen technical competencies and safety standards, and support sustainable community development. The collaboration aims to integrate Sdeira's vision for developing an integrated workforce and community ecosystem with CERT's expertise in applied training and workforce capability development.

According to Emirates News Agency, both parties will design and implement targeted initiatives that respond to evolving market demands, aligning with the UAE's national priorities in human capital development, industrial growth, Emiratisation, and economic diversification. The partnership will focus on co-developing advanced training frameworks, digital learning solutions, and structured career pathways, enabling national and expatriate talent to enhance their skills and contribute effectively across key sectors.

Abdulaziz Bawazeer, Chief Executive Officer of Sdeira Group, emphasized that workforce development is crucial for sustainable community growth. He stated that the partnership with CERT allows for the delivery of impactful training programs that equip individuals with necessary skills to thrive in an evolving economy, thereby strengthening industries and communities.

Mohammed Gheyath, Chief Executive Officer of CERT, highlighted that the partnership marks a strategic step toward advancing new talent development models. He noted that CERT focuses on designing outcome-driven learning pathways that enable individuals to acquire high-value skills, enhance workforce readiness, and bolster the competitiveness of the national economy.
