Dubai: The International Charity Organisation announced it has received AED1 million from Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) to provide shopping vouchers for underprivileged families in the UAE ahead of Eid Al Adha, as part of their joint efforts to promote social solidarity.
According to Emirates News Agency, Dr. Khaled Al Khaja, Secretary-General of the Organisation, stated that the initiative highlights DIB's dedication to social responsibility and its support for charitable programmes designed to alleviate financial pressures on vulnerable families.
He further mentioned that the organisation is continuing to implement its programmes in partnership with national institutions and the private sector to expand support and reach a larger number of eligible families.
