Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, engaged in a significant meeting with Luc Frieden, the Prime Minister of Luxembourg, during his working visit to the country. The discussions focused on reviewing and potentially enhancing bilateral relations between the UAE and Luxembourg, with a particular emphasis on cooperation in sectors such as the economy, trade, and investment.According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting highlighted the UAE's commitment to building advanced and productive relations with Luxembourg, aiming to support mutual efforts towards comprehensive development and sustainable economic growth. Both parties also exchanged views on regional and international issues, including the latest developments in the region.A significant portion of the discussions centered around the repercussions of Iran's recent terrorist attacks targeting civilian sites in the UAE with missiles and drones. These actions pose serio us threats to international maritime security, energy supplies, and the global economy. The dialogue also addressed the terrorist drone attacks from Iraqi territory, one of which recently targeted the Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant.Prime Minister Luc Frieden expressed Luxembourg's solidarity with the UAE and condemned the terrorist attacks. H.H. Sheikh Abdullah appreciated Luxembourg's supportive stance and assured the safety of all residents and visitors in the UAE. The meeting was also attended by key UAE officials, including Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, and Mohamed Ismail Al Sahlawi.
