UAE Prepares to Host 20th Ambassadors’ Forum 2026 with Focus on Strategic Autonomy

Abu dhabi: The 20th session of the Forum of UAE Ambassadors and Representatives of Missions Abroad is set to commence tomorrow, Monday. Scheduled to run from June 8th to 11th, 2026, this annual forum provides a strategic platform for aligning visions and coordinating priorities among UAE's diplomatic missions.

According to Emirates News Agency, this year's gathering is themed 'Strategic Autonomy: Strengthening National Sovereignty Beyond February 28.' The forum will address a range of regional and international strategic issues, focusing on UAE's efforts to promote security, peace, economic growth, and global prosperity. Ministers and senior officials, along with heads of UAE missions abroad, department directors from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and representatives from various government entities and sectors, will participate.

The forum's program includes strategic dialogue sessions concentrating on UAE's foreign policy priorities for 2026, advancing its economic and investment agenda, and exploring developments in advanced technology and artificial intelligence. Future plans supporting the UAE government's vision and strategic objectives will also be discussed.
