Abu dhabi: Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, engaged in a meeting with Dr. Salem Suhail Al Neyadi, Chairman of the National Human Rights Institution (NHRI), to explore avenues for improved cooperation and coordination on human rights and labor issues.
According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting is part of NHRI's broader strategy to strengthen partnerships with government agencies and boost institutional collaboration to promote and protect human rights in the United Arab Emirates. The discussions centered on advancing cooperation in promoting labor rights, increasing awareness of human rights principles in workplaces, and supporting initiatives that align with national legislation and international commitments to reinforce the UAE's human rights framework.
Dr. Salem Suhail Al Neyadi emphasized the significance of collaboration between NHRI and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation in fostering an inclusive, rights-based work environment, reinforcing the UAE's progress in human rights.
