Abu dhabi: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Lebanese President His Excellency Joseph Aoun engaged in a phone call to discuss bilateral relations and explore opportunities to enhance cooperation for the benefit of both nations and their citizens.
According to Emirates News Agency, the conversation also addressed recent developments in Lebanon, focusing on efforts to bolster the country's security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. President Aoun expressed gratitude towards the UAE for its continued support of Lebanon and its people, while extending wishes for ongoing progress and prosperity in the UAE.
The discussion between the two leaders also included various regional issues of mutual interest, with a particular emphasis on developments in the Middle East. Both presidents highlighted the necessity of continued efforts to fortify security and stability, as well as to promote peace throughout the region, aiming for the ongoing development and prosperity of its nations and peoples.
