According to Emirates News Agency, the discussions between H.H. Sheikh Abdullah and Rangel included a review of issues of mutual interest, emphasizing the enhancement of cooperation across various sectors that align with the development priorities of the UAE and Portugal. The dialogue also covered regional developments, particularly in the Middle East, and examined ways to support efforts aimed at maintaining regional and international peace and security.
