Abu Dhabi:Former Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart participated in a City Football Schools (CFS) coaching session at Masdar City in Abu Dhabi, where he engaged in goalkeeping drills and shared valuable tips with young players.
According to Wam, the visit coincided with the 15th anniversary of the academy in the UAE, marking a significant milestone. Hart, who enjoyed a 12-year stint at Manchester City, expressed his delight at returning to Abu Dhabi, a place he holds fond memories of from previous training camps.
During his visit, Hart praised the academy's coaching methods, highlighting the benefits of training with Manchester City's approach from an early age. He emphasized that this provided young players with the opportunity to hone their skills while enjoying the game.
Hart, who retired from professional football in 2024 and currently works as a pundit, also took the opportunity to visit the Manchester City Stores. He relished the chance to interact with fans in the region, noting the remarkable passion they have for the club.
