The Director of the General Railway Company, Engineer Younis Khaled Jawad, received today, Thursday, the Commercial Advisor at the Chinese Embassy in Iraq (Xu Zhong), to discuss plans for the new development road project.
The Director General said, according to a statement by the Ministry of Transport that, according to the directives, to continue organizing fruitful meetings with international companies to start working on the strategic development road project, we discussed with the Commercial Advisor at the Chinese Embassy in Iraq the project plans.
He added: The commercial Advisor visited the headquarters of the development road project in the company and met with the stakeholders who represent the Italian side of PEG, and we also discussed the most important aspirations and future prospects for the start of implementation, as well as informing him of the technical and logistical figures.
For his part, Xiu Zhong stressed the desire of discreet Chinese companies to contribute to the international development path that connects East and West.
