The dialogue focused on recent events in the region, particularly addressing the Iranian attacks on Kuwait involving missiles and drones, which resulted in casualties and significant damage to infrastructure, including Kuwait International Airport and diplomatic missions.
According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed the United Arab Emirates' unwavering solidarity with Kuwait and pledged support for any actions taken to maintain the country's security and stability. He highlighted that Kuwait's security is deeply interconnected with that of the UAE and the broader Gulf Arab states.
Sheikh Abdullah further underlined the severity of the Iranian attacks, calling them a blatant violation of international norms and laws. He described the aggression as a dangerous escalation that poses a threat to regional security and stability, emphasizing the need for concerted efforts to address such threats.
