Manila:During a meeting, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Anita Anand, Canada's Minister of Foreign Affairs, to discuss bilateral relations.
According to Emirates News Agency, the discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in areas such as economic, trade, investment, advanced technology, and innovation. Both sides explored ways to strengthen ties to support their mutual interests and development priorities.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah welcomed Anita Anand's visit, emphasizing the growth of UAE-Canada relations across various fields. He highlighted the shared commitment to expanding cooperation and partnership to serve the development visions of both nations and improve the prosperity and well-being of their peoples.
The leaders also exchanged views on regional developments and the current situation in the region. The meeting was attended by Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation.
