Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Jamshid Khodjaev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on the sidelines of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week. The meeting focused on enhancing the strategic partnership between the United Arab Emirates and Uzbekistan, particularly in sectors such as trade, investment, renewable energy, and environmental sustainability.
According to Emirates News Agency, the discussions also covered key topics on the agenda of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026, emphasizing its role as a platform for international cooperation in sustainability. H.H. Sheikh Abdullah expressed appreciation for the strengthening relations between the UAE and Uzbekistan, emphasizing the mutual commitment to advancing development priorities and economic prosperity.
Additionally, the meeting included an exchange of views on current regional and international developments, reflecting a broader commitment to collaboration on global issues. The meeting was attended by Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure.
