Abu Dhabi: The UAE has continued its humanitarian mission in Afghanistan by sending a plane carrying 40 tons of essential aid and preparing an urgent aid ship for dispatch. In line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, the Joint Operations Command has been actively involved in delivering relief to the earthquake-stricken regions of eastern Afghanistan.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the President directed the immediate dispatch of a humanitarian aid ship loaded with food, shelter, and medical supplies aimed at supporting the Afghan population and alleviating the suffering caused by the recent earthquake. This initiative underscores the UAE's commitment to providing swift assistance to communities impacted by natural disasters.

The Joint Operations Command team commenced its support mission in Afghanistan last Wednesday, focusing on aiding those affected by the earthquake.
