Abu Dhabi University to Host Second International Conference on Advancing Sustainable Futures 2024.

Abu Dhabi: Under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Abu Dhabi University (ADU) is set to host its 2nd International Conference on Advancing Sustainable Futures 2024 (ICASF '24), taking place from 11th to 12th December 2024, at the Ritz Carlton, Abu Dhabi.According to Emirates News Agency, the two-day conference, themed 'Innovation and Digital Transformation for Sustainable Futures', is aligned with the United Nations 17 Sustainable Goals (SDGs) and has received 720 submissions, out of which 330 will be presented in 52 parallel sessions across 11 tracks. The conference will bring together over 65 keynote speakers and panellists from national and international organisations and universities, including ministers, diplomats, high-profile academics, researchers, industry experts, and policymakers from more than 90 countries.The speakers will address the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital technologies in tackling critical su stainability challenges and shaping resilient, future-ready communities. The event will include seven panel discussions with topics such as 'AI-Driven Innovation: Pioneering Sustainability in the Digital Transformation Era,' 'Empowering Inclusion and Change through Innovation: Aligning Higher Education with SDGs in the Digital Transformation Era,' and 'Driving Change: Innovation in Humanitarian, Anti-Poverty Solutions, Philanthropy and Corporate Social Responsibility, for Sustainable Futures.'The conference will feature 52 parallel sessions across 11 tracks, covering a wide array of topics, including digital innovation in science, engineering, and business; advancements in AI, green IT, and data science for sustainability; and the impact of digital transformation in law, health, and education.
