ADDED and ADREC Unite to Empower 300 Emirati Real Estate Agents in Al Ain

Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED), a key player in fostering economic growth in the emirate, and the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC), part of the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at empowering Emirati real estate agents in Al Ain. This strategic initiative is poised to drive sustainable economic growth in the region.

According to Emirates News Agency, the initiative will provide 300 Emiratis from the Al Ain region with essential training and certification to become licensed real estate agents. ADREC will facilitate enrolment into accredited training programmes, delivered by top institutions. Successful participants will receive the necessary licenses to operate as real estate agents, ensuring they are well-prepared for the competitive industry.

ADDED continues to advance socio-economic development across the Al Ain region and the broader Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Through programmes like the Al Ain Economic Development Programme, ADDED supports private sector growth, focusing on sustainable development and employment opportunities for Emiratis. The collaboration with ADREC highlights ADDED's commitment to partnering with the private sector to empower Emirati talent.

This partnership also represents a significant step in ADREC's strategy to strengthen the local real estate sector by integrating Emirati professionals. Badr Al Olama, Acting Director-General of Economic Affairs at ADDED, emphasized the importance of this initiative for empowering Emirati talent and promoting sustainable economic growth in Al Ain. He noted that the real estate sector is crucial for boosting investor confidence and advancing economic diversification in Abu Dhabi.

Rashed Al Omaira, Acting Director General of ADREC, stated that the partnership with ADDED is dedicated to elevating the real estate sector by equipping Emirati talent with the necessary skills and opportunities. By fostering well-trained and licensed brokers, ADREC aims to create local employment and uphold high standards of professionalism and transparency in the real estate market.

This initiative is part of ADREC's ongoing efforts to transform the real estate market into a competitive and inclusive sector. It follows ADREC's collaboration with Dubai Land Department (DLD), which saw the graduation of 500 Emirati brokers from an accredited programme. Collectively, these efforts demonstrate ADREC's leadership in aligning the real estate sector with Abu Dhabi's vision for a sustainable and diversified economy, reinforcing the vital role of Emiratis in shaping the industry's future.
